Can you elaborate a little more on what Leibniz had to say about the Universe?

>Fact: Newton conceptualized a universe where the space and time of science is absolute, and where the matter of science behaved determinately
>
>Fact: Leibniz conceptualized a universe where the space and time of science is relative, and where the matter of science behaved indeterminately
>
>Fact: Newton's theories of space, time, and matter have evolved into new theories, where space and time are relative, and matter is indeterminate
>
>Fact: These new theories rest on a foundation that still resembles Newton's universe more than Leibniz's
>
>Fact: The greatest endeavor of physicists today is to create even newer theories of relative space, relative time, and indeterminate matter that have no compatibility issues

>The foundation of Leibniz, which anticipated both relativity and quantum mechanics, may have more potential for yielding a GUT or TOE than Newton's foundation, which has been made relativistic and indeterminate ad-hoc.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
