Wow. It's been years and years since I looked at qbasic. If I remember correctly, the Print command just prints to the screen. A semicolon means that the next print starts immediately to the right of the last one. However, that line you posted typically contols a cash drawer I think.
Probably an epson? There is probably another line above it somewhere with somthing declaring #1 such as: Open "com1:" for output as #1 or something similar. Then after the Print line, there should be a close line.
If this is the case, where it the cash drawer attached to? It is attached to a com port or what?
