Mike,

>I applied your update and it still doesn't work on my notebook. It does work on my desktop however. I think my notebook still has some residual issues related to removing sample templates from your templates session last March (LA .Net Masters Series). Maybe some hints on cleanup to check would help.

When you install MM .NET on your computer, Web project template zip files are installed in the following directories:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplates\Web\CSharp\MM .NET
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplates\Web\VisualBasic\MM .NET
When you select to create a new Web project in Visual Studio the New Web Site dialog searches these directories for zip files, examines their contents and displays a Project template for each zip file.

After creating new project templates or changing existing templates, you must update Visual Studio's project template cache (the MM .NET Installer does this for you automatically, but you may need to do it again manually). To do this, exit Visual Studio, and launch a Visual Studio 2005 command window. You can do this by clicking the Windows Start button and selecting All Programs | Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 | Visual Studio Tools | Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt. In the command prompt dialog, enter the following command, then press Enter:
DEVENV /SETUP
This command causes Visual Studio 2005 to examine the project template folders and add them to its project template cache. This process takes a few minutes.

Let me know if this works for you!
