But if the index is opened for a buffered table that has had a record added, say, then (I imagine, anyway) the index on disk doesn't match the buffered index, right? So which does the seek use? I suppose the buffered one.
Can you tell I assume that if a table is buffered, it's CDX is too? Never even thought about it--just assumed it.
>IndexSeek returns t or f to tell if the entry is in the index. It actually reads the index from the data base engine without touching the dbf.
