Why would it be any business of mine whether Sirius was "wrong" in hiring Howard Stern? More to the point, why would I care? Personally I can't stand the guy and have a solution I am perfectly content with: I don't listen to him on the radio or watch him on TV. What would be the point of boycotting a company that has not done me (or anyone else) any harm?

If one wishes to boycott a gun maker or tobacco company (for example), fine. But a radio network with many channels, none of which anyone is obligated to listen to?

>Not really. If you believe that Sirius was wrong in hiring Stern, then you are boycotting the company. With a TV, you get channels owned by multiple companies.

>>Do you think you're forced to listen to all the stations? That's about like saying "I don't like MTV so I'm not getting a television."
