It doesn't matter where the files are located, the application will always use the OCX from the PC running the application. Have you looked at http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~c0000005Error~VFP

>This one has me scratching my head. I've got an issue where a client has a software written in VFP 6.0 SP5 (I know, I know, it's time to upgrade) that is behaving in a peculiar fashion. When the software is installed locally on the workstation it works fine. If the program files are hosted on a server (other than the domain controller) it works fine. When the program files are hosted on the domain server I get a C0000005 error on some forms (it seems to crash on forms that use COMDLG32.OCX). I've had the customer check both the security and sharing permissions to make sure that the group is configured with the necessary rights (everything seems OK). The user was indeed created in the domain and is configured as a local admin for the workstation.
>Anybody have any suggestions? (aside from upgrade from VFP 6.0)
