On the Java chart - instead of a double click - a right click opens the dialog.
I know MSCHart has a twips feature - but I don't know how that could be mapped to a seriies value.
I needed to use Windows Messaging for some stuff - finally got VFP 9 - and I cant wait.

http://gigasoft.com/) with some code in event handlers to do something like that. It can automatically display coordinates under mouse. It has methods to convert screen coordinates to chart coordinates and vise versa. And I also use event handlers to coordinate chart cursor with VFP grid active record and vise versa.
