Nearly too nice to be true. The older ones here do remember when FOXBASE was introduced in 1986... It is potentially a piece of news of this importance.

The COMMUNITY should support this strongly.

Many ways we can do that including:
- Propose community-based support and feedback to the editor all along from the complex beta-cycle till production.
- Make it clear to MS VFP team that, should MS react with litigation(...), the COMMUNITY WOULD REACT IN A STRONGLY NEGATIVE WAY (of course we can).

Of course VFP can operate within the NET framework. Python can - as proved by Hugenin (who joined MS recently). MS currently wants the end of the VFP game. Let us make sure it does not happen !
