Hi everybody,

I'm using VFP Autoincrement fields for my PKs. I want to display this auto-generated PK on the form. However, using append blank doesn't create a key up until the record is actually saved.

What can I do to display the PK on the form, but yet not making changes in the record?

After second thought, it may be impossible, since the number may change if another user makes updates.
