If that's what happened. I only met him a couple of times, and those times not really in depth, but it sure never occurred to me that he had any psychological problems. Others here know him better.

I've heard it said that everyone at some point thinks or talks about suicide - most of us not seriously, of course, and I don't know how serious it was in his discussions with whomever, but I'd like to think that he was the same as the majority.

To the best of my knowledge, he truly loved his son. It's hard for me to believe it was a murder/suicide. It is much easier for me to accept that his son fell and he tried to grab him and went over too, but, again, I can't know.
