My project uses MSChart. Sever Charts will be placed on the page. They will all be assessing the same timeline - but apply different "stochistics" and "moving averages".

My idea is to not show the series legend. They will all be single series charts (1 row x variable column count). My idea is to build a "ruler" that will reside at the bottom of the form that will express the time line all the charts will be based on.

The charts could also be wider than the form. I am looking at creating a slider control that behaves similar to a "micrometer" - when the user moves the slider to the right - the "ruler" - and charts - move to the left.

For the rulere I could just add a dummy chart that does have a legend (but no data), place it inside a container and crop everything but the legend data. This would work but I don't like burning clock unless absolutely necessary/

Or - I could use a label object.

My question is there an MSChart property that I can use to designate the "ticks" (distance between the indexed series values) - or read them - to create a ruler object that will align with the time scale of the charts?

Also - has anybody used MSCHart's "TwipsToChartPart" method? Is it fully exposed to VFP?
