I'm waiting for the boys to sue Duke. In my opinion, they never should have received ANY punitive action UNTIL and UNLESS they are found guilty in a court of law.

Imagine the civil suit here. Their reputation and lives are virtually ruined. Even if no trial occurs (due to lack of evidence) or a trial occurs and they are acquitted, there will always be those who will see them as guilty.

If either occurs (lack of evidence or acquittal) they deserve a HEFTY sum in a civil suit - one that will compensate them HANDSOMELY and provide for them for the rest of their lives. I think they could argue that their reputation and earning power have been stripped from them.

I agree with you 100 percent. I find it hard to believe this will ever go as far as a jury verdict. I think the next formal procedure is in a month or so, and hopefully the defense will be able to get this dismissed.

Zero physical evidence, and testimony that loses credibility with each passing week.

I am sure these three kids aren't choir boys - they went out, they partied, they drank, they hired strippers...unless there's any evidence that it went beyond that...BFD.

I'm impressed that they've stuck it out. They've maintained their innocence after almost a year.

If these three young men are indeed innocent, they deserve complete vindication...and they and their families deserve restitution...lots of it.

And I just saw this...Nifong has asked to be removed... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=2729426

Nifong and Barry Bonds belong in the LIARs Hall of Fame.
