--Anyone know why recently you must remove your laptop from its case before sending it through the x-ray machine at airport security? What difference can the laptop case make?

My guess is that they want to turn on your laptop to make sure you didn't download any pictures from that URL that we all talked about yesterday. <s> [just kidding]
