Hi Gerard

This is an enterprise application and all of the reporting is done from SQL server using SQL server reporting services and reporting tools from within the data warehousing software.

>>I have helped build an enterprise class system (300+ users) using StrataFrame over the last 12 months. In my view, it is significantly better than MM.Net. However, both frameworks utilise business objects that "wrap" ADO.Net data tables or ADO.Net DataSets.
>>
>>Another take on this is to consider a framework that utilises a more "object" based approach to business objects. By this, I mean that a business object is a single entity e.g., an abstration of a datarow or similar, that can be contained in collection of entities (not an embedded data table) and one that supports properties that are collections of related entities. For a more domain model based approach, look at LLBL Gen Pro (not really a framework but an excellent ORM tool - there is a public domain framework that sits on top of LLBL Gen Pro called JCL http://jclframework.net/jcl/) or IdeaBlade. DevExpress also have a new framework that uses a domain based approach.
