Hi,

My POS screen has a "COMPLETE" button that the user is expected to press in order to close out the sale and set the POS screen for the next sale. Here is the problem:

The "COMPLETE" button has focus, therefore pressing the ENTER key causes the click method of the COMPLETE button to fire. That is just fine. BUT.... if the cashier fails to press the COMPLETE button OR press the ENTER key, and instead, picks up the Bar Code Scanner and scans the first product on the next sale, the scanner sends the barcode (ignored) followed by an ENTER which fires the COMPLETE click method.

OOOPS.. a product just got scanned but not recorded in the sale and the product goes out the door for free. Not Good.

Any ideas how to ignore the scanner until the COMPLETE button is pressed ??
