Well Indeed, if the story is that we can enhance VFP without consuming more Microsoft Ghia Heads, this is great news!

Only can only imagine the legal department at Micro$oft buring candles trying to rig the EULA to forbid this.

It will be great to see their (M$'s) response. Maybe we'll get a NEW VFP with an enhanced EULA. But still - I cannot see any reason to go with DOT NOT anyway - and niether can most of the IT slave vendors - the smart money is chasing Java.

I am really thinking it's time to move beyond MicroSoft - it's getting to be like a high school greaser club - evrybody is suffering from cultural lag.

Europe and China are developing new operating systems.

>>>Hello great and fine VFP community,

>Actually not yet, the compiler is still in alpha, but you can add the assemblies into your VFP pretty much seamlessly if you buy the extender (and without the COM+ interop hassle - or does the extender do that behind the scenes, I'm still not clear on that).

>Just read this whole thread, and a few others which started popping up about a week ago, and get ready to have your eyes opened. Also take care to not have anything heavy in your hand, when the moment of forehead-slapping comes.
