Why don't you guys build a VFP compiler (instead of "Clipper" call it "Flipper").

A small innovative shop as yours could advance the state xBase much more than Micro$oft. I am at a loss why the super-geeks have not worked this through.

What microsoft should have don is made DOT-NOT a COM that VFP could use - or - embeded it's extensions in the VFP IDE. Better Yet - the RUNTIMES for any compiled tools projects could have been part of the OS/

You guys could be real heros (and rich) if you could push visual xBase as Clipper pushed DOS xBase. You could get rich. And so could we. We need to move our expereince to a broader market - like UNIX/LINUX - this clever addition to our tool set could - in the end - be one of the best things to ever hit the community.
