Orlando,

The unique way I found to be sure I fully understood what the view designer is doing is run the HOME() +"tools\gendbc\gendbc.prg" against my databases. Check the code of your view in the generated prg. You'll more than certainly learn from where the problem comes from.

Also, check the DBSETPROP command in help, it does a bunch of things.
