There was never any development in FPW, I skipped that phase. All UI has been rewritten. There are 1213 records in one project, 1106 in another. I'm not sure many people develop products in VFP. Products grow over the years and can get huge (the menus in several of our products exceeded 64k and the change in VFP 9 to allow greater than 64k programs allowed to put menus back together that we had split). I am 99% sure that there isn't something stupid in this, just really big projects.
