You are truly one of the most delusional people I've ever heard from, but that's besides the point.

More to the point, you are making arguments based 100% on emotion that show your lack of knowledge about which you speak.

First, on the desktop, Java is no match for dotnet. Java on the desktop typically requires a library called Swing. There is no UI I'm aware of that allows for wysiwyg Swing devopment. Not only that, but in general Swing is far more difficult to work with then dotnet. I've read several articles where developers are begging Sun to redo Swing, to no avail. But then I'm sure you knew that.

Second, using this site as THE site to base your assumptions on is baseless. Have you noticed that there are very few people who are new to the UT based on the dotnet, java, oracle, sql server, etc. forums. People come here for VFP. And if they happen to work with other technologies they might post in that forum on this site. But for those other technologies, the UT would not be my first choice. Far from it.

Try googling for something like "grid c# tutorial" as an example. You will end up with numerous sites. Have you ever seen here when someone asks about dotnet sites. Typically people involved with dotnet will have their 3-5 favorite sites and the UT might not even be in the list.
