I think the book which summarizes when each VAT percentage applies, is almost as thick as the bible. :-)

It's the same over here - VAT law is similar in the European countries

VAT law makes a distinction between goods and services

- Get a pizza = a good .....lookup in table... food .. 6%
- Eat a pizza in a restaurant = a service... lookup in table.... service = 21%
