Actually, I resolved this.

There was one field in the report who's name looked too long to me. I didn't think this
would be an issue, but I figured what the heck...

So I went into the SQL Proc and aliased it with a shorter name, pull the field off the report,
Validated the report, and readded it - and it works. Go figure.
