MDOWN() evaluates the
current state of the mouse (default) button, regardless of the active form/control. In the sample I suggested, it is important to enable the Timer (executing MDOWN()) at the very beginning of the Resize method. But that may not be possible if there's a lot of code in the default method or in the anchored objects resize..
>So you're saying that making use of the MouseDown and MouseUp events won't work? Maybe they don't fire on the border . . .

>>>In message #
1179394 I suggested a timer based approach. I guess Terry was looking for a BINDEVENT on the Windows message that indicates the start/end of resize, though I am not sure how useful or practical that might be in case of setting to "Show window contents while..." .

>>Yes, I read that message. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the timer would be looking for. In my tests, MDOWN() becomes .F. before all the resize-related code has finished.
