I don't support it anylonger (someone else does) and I'm glad for it. :o) Of course, everything could have changed since then so there could be other states which have incorporated something similar to the VAT and I wouldn't know about it (unless it was NC :o)

One state having VAT while other states have retail tax... now that really sounds like the Brits proposing to start driving on the right side, first year only trucks, then gradually the others. I can only imagine how semifinished products cross the state border and what happens with the paperwork... it must grow endlessly.
