Hmmm, I've always found him to be tolerable and mildly funny. Maybe he's gone stale. After all, he DID make his name in stand-up, doing funny voices and impersonations and madcap antics. That's him. Carey in real life tries to be "The Mask", which is a part he plays but can't carry off, IMO.
