I am in the #2 camp. But immediately contact the coroner and insist on a reexamination? That doesn't seem very realistic to me. If I had some smoking gun evidence, that would be one thing. I don't. Going in there and saying I HAVE A FEELING your verdict was slipshod would get me exactly nowhere, I'm afraid. They're undoubtedly happy to have "closed" this 18 month old case and move on to other things.

>Evan and all, put aside the manner in which Terry has presented his point which is arguably not the best method. Instead focus on the point he is trying to make. You must conclude one of three things from the coroners report (or rather from the article link that was posted about the coroners conclusions):
>
>1) The coroner is lying on purpose.
>
>2) The coroner has reached an incorrect conclusion.
>
>3) Drew did what the coroner has claimed he did.
>
>Terry's point => everyone who believes either 1 or 2 should immediately contact the coroner and make the appropiate complaints and insist on a re-examination of all the facts including the numerous people here who could vouch for Drew's character and love for his son.

>>Terry,
>>
>>After this post, I sincerely hope you and I NEVER meet.
>>
>>While you may have a right to voice your opinions regarding this case, you have chosen instead to make obscene, irresponsible value judgments and wild, insane conclusions about a person and their family whom you (obviously) never knew. ALL of your suggested actions are, in a (sadly inadequate) word, SICKENING.
>>
>>I shall no longer bother to read any posts from you, since I have far better things to do with my life than listen to your constant rants and inflammatory verbiage.
>>
>>Michel Fournier:
>>I must agree with others -- please delete either this entire thread, or the portion of the thread beginning with the message to which I'm responding. I also join the requests of others to have Mr. Thurber permanently removed from this forum. You have removed other members for violations and infractions of FAR less magnitude than this posting, and failing to do so in this case would be a serious management mistake.
>>
>>** THIS TYPE OF ATTACK ON A PERSON AND FAMILY WHO CAN NO LONGER DEFEND THEMSELVES HAS NO PLACE IN THE PUBLIC RECORD, AND ESPECIALLY LINKED TO THE UNIVERSAL THREAD !!! **
>>
>>Michel, your prompt actions in this matter will determine whether I remain a subscriber to your service, and I'm **CERTAIN** that I'm not alone. Please respond PUBLICLY at your earliest possible convenience.
