Hi Mike,

No, I was responding to Michel's comments in his message only. Just after christmas I tumbled down some steep wooden stairs in the middle of the night and had to make a run to the ER. I actually broke two ribs in the process. Has this been an exciting year for me or what? :0) I healed pretty quickly though after the first couple of days of pain. One good thing, in the ER they did a full CT scan and I got a clean bill of health on all my internal organs and lungs :o) It did show my two broken ribs though. I'd rather not go through that experience again just for the CT scan...

>For the record, if you meant me, I never threatened to leave the UT over it. I just objected to the handling of the matter by the UT "owner", who exhibited the backbone of an amoeba. I didn't much like the mob behavior, either. None of which excuses the comments of TT, which you captured in a memorable string of words.
>
>Sorry to hear about your tumble down the stairs. You said something earlier about having to go to the hospital and I ass-umed it had to do with your daughter and/or her friend. Are you OK now? What happened?
>
>I really just want to forget the whole hoo-ha over the coroner's report and the fallout here. It bothered me a great deal. First the report itself, which I found unnourrishing to say the least, then the drama and repercussions on this forum.
>
>See you in other threads, hopefully many of them.

>>Kudos Michel. I hate to take anymore time away from what you have to accomplish, so no need for you to read further unless you wish.
>>
>>My personal opinion is that the Universal Thread is handled in a very professional manner. The chatter section is clearly separated from the technical section and the forum guidelines are sufficiently clear for all to adhere to.
>>
>>While personally I do not agree that anyone (in this case) should be banished from the UT, that is something completely under the control of the UT and its admistrators/owners and an action to ban a member will not affect my supporting the UT in anyway. I am here primarily for the technical support and anything else is just fluff. I will twit anyone whose threads I personally find offensive which is sufficient for me.
>>
>>I would hope that no one leaves the UT solely due to whether or not a single member is banned or a thread is removed. The Universal Thread is a high quality technical forum and a key part of the VFP development community. I thank you for continuing to provide this service to the community and putting forth so much effort to make it more financially feasible for members to continue to maintain a subscription.
>>
>>I am sorry for your time spent in the emergency today and hope all is well with you now. I recently spent many many hours in the ER after a fall down some steep stairs in the middle of the night and it was not a pleasant experience (to say the least).
>>
>>
>>>Here is a small note on that thread, the one that everyone seems to be talking about today. This morning, when I started my day, I have been bombarded by dozens of complaints. Some others came in my private messages here on the Universal Thread. It is surprising me, that following that situation, I didn't get voice mails.
>>>
>>>This is to let you know that I am aware that there is something going on. I just don't know entirely what it is presently because I have been in meeting all day and I have to prepare this important TV interview tomorrow for the national TV in regards to the tax problem we have here presently, which is the highest priority right now on the Universal Thread as this is related to its survival (thanks to all who continued their support BTW with purchase of subscriptions and banner advertisements as this has allowed us to keep it running). I just read a portion of a message so far, from that entire thread, and the first thing I saw was that one or multiple users might withdraw their support to this site if no prompted action is taken. Well, such approach usually does not work very well with site administratives as usually none of them work under such pressure or such threats. I believe most of our members already know, that after those more than 10 years of operation, that everything is
>>>done under a professional way here when comes time to execute some administration procedures. I just find it sad, that after I have come up from those meetings and after I spent 6 hours in the emergency in the hospital today that some members are threatening to remove their support from this site if they are not satisfied enough within a specific timeframe. This is really sad. One should know that such administrative procedures take time. This is not something where we would simply just press a button. There is an analysis that has to be done and I need to rely on the actual Terms & Conditions of the site. I need to know if some rules have been broken. Based on some emails I have received, based on the fact that I do realize that some content in regards to that specific thread is quite offended for some, I need to rely on rules being broken. If there are, proper measures will be taken in the chain of procedures such as notifications and banishment, if necessary. One should also know
>>>that it is useless to ask for threads/messages removal because this will not happen. The administrative procedures detailed in the Terms & Conditions say that we do some specific actions. That does not include removal of threads nor messages.
>>>
>>>So, I would like to ask for your patience on this. It is also not necessary to keep sending me more complaints as this will simply jeopardized the timeframe it will take to work on that issue.
