Going by film and TV, it seems that you guys could save a whole lot more if you just turned some lights off: The last one to leave an office always leaves all the desk lights on; people enter their houses and lamps and lights are already on (except in thrillers when they prefer roving round the house in the dark, rather than switch the lights on).
