But I don't even get that far. The init of the optiongroup fails because the datatype is wrong. Perhaps neither the optiongroup nor its buttons can have a controlsource in this instance? If that is true, and I have to massage both the button display and the field values manually, I'd say the control doesn't support logical data.

Has anyone ever accomplished this with a logical field as a controlsource?
