Hi Igor! Yes. From our DBMS we expect:
1) Ability to store complex data without splitting "legs and hands" to separate storages and index lookups to get them united again.
2) Ability to work with some (NOT ALL) data as objects to:
- Allow lower user skills when working with configurational data - hide all the logic in object methods.
- Allow dataprocessing object structures to be stored in database and rule application data - define storage structures, relations and process input data.
This is necessary to define flexible systems we need. As far as we use some data (configuration) to define, process and generate application data we cannot split database and application no more.
