Title:
Media hysteria over Al Qaeda
I just clicked back from the UT to my home page, cnn.com, and was immediately annoyed at the headline du jour. "Al Qaeda Deputy: If We Are Killed, You Will Be Killed." Ho hum. As a breaking news headline this is right up there with U.S. military claims that we just knocked off the #3 Al Qaeda guy. We have knocked off about 59 of them, usually right after bad news for the administration.
A better headline from Al Qaeda: "We'll Huff and We'll Puff and We'll Blow Your House In!" Yeah, yeah, yeah. You got lucky once, bedouins.
I wish CNN news would get back to hard news.
PS -- This is probably a really old trivia question but does anyone know what "al queda" means?
