Well mine refreshes every 5 mins, but it doesn't refresh the display automatically; I have to do that. I do hear "You have replies" though, but that doesn't tell me that someone is in distress - only people who've replied to me.

I didn't know there was an option to update the display - I can't find it.

>I have autorefresh every 3 minutes. I think it could be changed in personal settings (i set it long time ago).
>Btw, I was really away and this fast nickname is entirely Dragan's creation :).

>>Well I didn't know you before, Eddie - I think you were "away" when I started frequenting the UT - but the felicitations you received on your return, some of them referred to you as "Fast Eddie". Well, I thought this was just a common cliche, like "Stan the Man". However, you've lived up to the soubriquet; you've been like sh!t off a chrome shovel. Maybe you just lurk there, refreshing every few minutes, in order to be the first (though I doubt it) :-)

>>Anyway, I'm not in any race. But it is a pain when you reply to someone and then, when you scroll down to send, you see someone else's checkbox cos they've already answered it. And that doesn't appear in the prior thread drill-down until you go into answer mode.

>>>Please, this race lost sense years ago :). I'm in a semi-retired mode.

>>>>Not that hard really in this case, but I DID beat Fast Eddie to the draw! :-)
