FoxSqueeze uses the PKZIP routines inernally, but due to licensing things the written format is not ZIP compatible. FoxSqueeze is very well integrated with VFP, thus it's easy to writa a backup/restore program. But if those disks get corrupted, you're out of luck: as far as I know, there's no repair program for the SQZ files.
Another optionwould be the use of the DYNAZIP library, which is a DLL/ OCX, which mimics PKZIP completely. Thus you could use PKZIPFIX for problems.
