>>It's hot where I am too. The hottest day of the summer so far. Not a cloud in the sky. No breeze. Bright sunshine. I just went for a walk by the river at lunch time. The water is probably up to 45 degrees now. It must be in the low 80's (30 celcius). I was even sweating, though it doesn't take more than 10 seconds to dry! Good thing the shade is 10 degrees cooler than in the sun!

>Hey now....that's a low blow....as we are currently having our 12th day over 100 degrees (Fahrenheit, I don't EVEN wanna try to do the conversion in me head)...Dallas has been even worse....

Yes, I understand parts of the US are very hot. We don't have much humidity here so you don't often get that sweaty feeling. The nights get cool though and the temperature usually drops 20 - 30 degrees. If the weather stays like this I think I will go to the mountains on the weekend, although the bears are very active and have been causing 5 - 6 'bear-jams' a day on the highways. (People stopping to see the bears.) Every place has it's own unique lifestyle, eh? That's why we need our different tools.
