ah yes I think I'm familiar with the method you use, someone I know uses that method while using VB.NET 2002, which he couldn't figure out how to call forms directly like in VB6 with the Form1.Show method, but when VB.NET 2005 allowed that again, we tried to revert to that style of form handling, until we encountered that roadblock with form disposing
