In Slovenia they have their own recipe, cooked up in 1953 - Cockta (supposedly to be part of cocktails). Wikipedia doesn't say much at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockta and I'm not sure the "dog rose berry" is the right ingredient. AFAIK, it's rose hips. And that's actually the only brown zuckerwasser that I'd drink.

I presume nobody here speaks Slovenian, and they never bothered to translate http://www.cockta.si/index.php?p=7&igraj=1 (the official site). But if you ever run into this, just try it. And yes, they confirm that it's rose hips.
