I have use tableupdate and tablerevert with tables in my data environment but I have never used views before. I was under the impression that if you appended a record to the view and then did a tableupdate(.t.) that it would append a record to the parent table and update the fields but it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me! Can anyone give me a clue as to what settings I may not have set and whether tableupdate and tablerevert is all I need to update the parent table from the view?!
