>I'm using a legacy app written for FPD26 DOS, running under XP Home. When using FPD26 DOS, CPU usage immediately jumps to 100%. I use the app on a notebook computer. Normally, the fan is off and the computer runs cool. While using the program, the fan starts very soon and the computer heats up quite a bit. Is there a setting in either XP or FPD26 which would remedy this?
