There are different ways of making smoothies. When I make them myself they consist of yogurt, juice, fruit (usually bananas and/or strawberries), and a little wheat germ. Lately I have been buying them at the store. Those are more like liquid yogurt. All the major yogurt brands now make smoothies and with it being a new category the stuff is almost always on sale.
