>I remembered at Jack Nicholson's "About Schmidt", they eat potato chips at breakfast. That's terrible for us...

I'm not sure if you took that movie seriously or not. It was a farce. If so, this is the case of mistaking a movie for reality. In About Schmidt, Jack N portrayed a man going through major changes in his life. He retires, his wife dies, his daughter is going to marry a loser, and he poors out his deepest thoughts to a young boy he donates money to every month. He eats all quick, ready-made, comfort foods. The things we see college students eating. That is not reality and not typical of the average American. However, periodically single men and college students may eat junk and even cold pizza for breakfast (whatever is quickest and requires no cooking). I'm sure there are some who eat like that, but it certainly is not the norm here.
