>I was told that this was someone's first Fox app but I'm not sure that it wasn't originally written in FoxPro for Windows. About 80 percent of the functionallity is in a single pageframe. The design of the UI is fine but the data needs to be normalized. Several of the tables have 50 or 65 character text fields as primary keys. By the time I first saw it in 2002, the app was running in VFP 5, although some of the source code was missing. In any case, I'm replacing about 10,000 lines of code in PRGs with PEMs and adapting it to use SQL data. That part is actually not difficult but somehow I forgot about the Visual Calendar when I said I'd do the project. Again, all of its code is in PRGs (about 25 to 30 of them) with few, if any, comments.

>Outlook is an interesting suggestion but I didn't think it was capable of tracking and displaying 15 to 20 different people's schedules at one time. Is there a workgroup version? What about scheduling the facilities...
hmmmm....that may not be my app then...I'm quite good about documentation - although seems like there were some .prg's I grabbed from somewhere else....ha. if there is 'Victor' or 'VEA' anywhere in the comments then it's prolly me.
as far as the outlook thing goes - are they using an exchange server by chance?
