Hi Bill,

Just did a bit more digging and found this article, the effects of this drug just gets worse, you had better look at the following link http://www.neos-eyes.org/journal/Fraunfelder-NEOS.doc which says in the Guidlines/Conclusions Section:-
This is the only class of drug proven to cause scleritis. Bisphosphonates can cause vision threatening diseases, which may require discontinuing the drug in some uveitis cases and, in this series, all cases of scleritis.
>Thanks Neil,

>It is great to get an early warning through a popular channel like the UT. The corporate media has not mentioned this as far as I know. That the doctors are stumped is evidence of the power of the pharmaceutical giants to distort and suppress information.

>Had you heard anywhere about damage to the optic nerve and loss of some peripheral vision as a result of this drug?
>
>>The pain she was experiencing are classic side effects, and the loss of blood flow that the other eye doctor speculated could also be attributed to the drug, as that is how it works, it effects the blood vessels and restricts flow.
