>>By coincidence I've been working on a VFP6 app over the last few days and at one point I was looking at using some of the FoxTools functions. I couldn't find anything in VFP6 help about FoxTools, instead I found George Tasker's excellent extended help file: download#9333

George's is far better - it also lists the bugs of these functions, like the bug in FoxTouch where it assigns the time as UTC, not local time, limitations to some of the string functions to 255 chars and not memos in earlier versions (which go back to probably FP2.0, when it was fpath.plb library) etc.

We had a FoxTools Forever And Dark Beer Club here once, and George was a member, of course. Nowadays we don't bother to maintain the name, as FoxTools functions are now indeed forever part of VFP proper. Functions like just*(), addbs() and a few others appeared in FPath.plb first, then in foxtools.fll, and then became part of the language. There are still a few usable functions there - specially the _ed* functions.
