John is right. Rememeber though, VFP is based on inheritience!
It is one of the cornerstones of VFP. Yes I would watch my
subclassing level also but mainly so they don't get out of
hand in the maintenane department.

Any slowdown will hopefully be fixed in VFP 4.0 due out
(cough, cough) at the end of this year. The #1 goal in
VFP 4 will be addressing the speed issue.
