>It's been a long time since I use VFP6, you really should upgrade. Anyway, you can try to add a transparent shape which covers your grid, except the scrollbars if you want them to be availabe to the users. In the click event of this shape, you can set focus back to your editbox.

added setFocus to grid1.click(), It works, Thanks. added the setfocus to Grid1.afterRowColChange too and now it is a bulletproof solution.
