Aye, Alan's right. There's a definite difference between tangerines, mandarines and clemantines. These species are a damn sight less hassle to peel than their bigger cousins. BTW, if you don't buy any of them then you're unlikely ever to distinguish the differences.

BTW the Dutch for an orange (the fruit) is sinaasappel (citrus apple? - no doubt a dutchy can chime in here), while for the colour orange is oranje.
