I need to start emailing from 2 apps and I know about all the options out there. What I need is advise about what might be the best option for my 2 particular cases so hopefully I pick the best way to email and not have to change ways later on.

1) I have an app that needs to do bulk mails at night.

2) The other app needs for the user to email reports real time.

For option 2 it will first send the email to the recipient and then email the user a copy for his records. If the recipient replies to the email it needs to reply to the user's email. Ideally (but not a requirement if there are to many other positives about it) it's not dependent on the OS and little issues with registration.

What email method do you guys suggest for 1 and 2?
