The British, of course, helped the Russians a lot, with Baltic convoys, running the gauntlet of German U-boats and the severe winters. Many merchant mariners lost their lives. Only the Russians have ever honoured these men. The Merchant Navy even stopped their pay, once they had no ship under them, i.e. sunk.

Now I don't know what supplies they brought the Russians, whether there was also US materiel, but if there was then the US DID help them, to a certain extent.
