>Thanks, Terry, for your reply. I'm currently working with VFP8 SP1. If my first record doesn't cause to stretch (go to a second line), the line appears beneath the fields. Otherwise the line pops up above the fields. It does indeed looks like some internal bug to me. I don't have lines in the header, though I put the column titles in the box.
How about the "blank if empty" option (or however it's worded)? Your 1st rec may be printing the line even though there is no datum to print?
