If VFP was working from memory, and hung before the actual SAVE, I would try using explorer, go to the directory, and try to do a hard copy/paste of whatever form you were working on... Even though it may be accessible as read-only because its used by another app, you can get a copy of it... THEN review that once VFP closes and you can re-start.
